Job Description

Pharmaceuticals Processes professionals enable the processes involved in creating a new drug/therapeutic agent, from initial Ramp;D to manufacturing/distribution to marketing/sales and all related processes.

Pharma Ramp;D professionals relate to that portion of the pharmaceutical value chain involved with discovering and developing new drugs/therapeutic agents spanning early stage research through to pre-clinical, clinical trials/clinical development and regulatory review/approval.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.
  • Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accentureon matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach
  • Has some latitude in decision-making.Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
  • Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility.
  • Manages large – medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture

Basic Requirements:

  • 3+years experience at a top tier consulting firm
  • 3+ years of experience in Life Sciences Ramp;D
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Skills:

  • 3+years of experiencein assessing Ramp;D or functional area issues, recommending, justifying changes through business case development, and implementing business transformations
  • 3+ years of strategic consulting experience with evidence of:
    • Significant client impact and value creation
    • Issue-based problem solving
    • Structured communications
    • On time, on budget high quality project delivery
    • Follow-on project sales and ability to sell work to new clients

Professional Skill Requirements

• Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Desire to work in an information systems environment
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Excellent leadership and management skills
