A leading consultancy with an international client portfolio is currently recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join its growing Regulatory Affairs technical team specialising in chemicals. The company’s industry sectors are diverse and include pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, cosmetics, IT, medical devices, mining and food.

As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will support the development and delivery of a variety of Regulatory and technical programmes that are assigned. The ideal candidate will excel at interacting with multi-national clients in a technical, Client Relationship Management and product focused capacity. You will provide support to a number of key clients on a range of topics and will work as part of a small team on several different projects at a time.

The Regulatory Affairs Specialist role includes:

* Support delivery of the company’s portfolio of service to key Clients.
* Manage multiple projects including coordination with contract research organisations.
* Develop strong relationships to the client and appreciation of their products.
* Full responsibility to meet challenging legislation-driven deadlines.
* Provide project management support to assigned projects.
* Become proficient in the use of registration systems, IUCLID and REACH IT as well as in-house software.
* Supporting clients in the development and delivery of product dossiers for submission to ECHA.

The ideal candidate:

* Primary Science degree, ideally Chemical, Toxicological or Occupational/Industrial Hygiene
* 3-5 years within a chemical/regulatory role
* CRM experience
* Working knowledge of REACH, with focus on registrations
* Experience in global product registration, chemical control legislation and/or exposure and risk assessment preferred
* Familiarity with GHS/CLP regulations

This position is based in South Dublin, close to the Green Luas and many bus routes. The salary is in the range of EUR35000-EUR40000.
