Multi-skilled Engineer/ Maintenance Technician (Pharmaceutical) – Cheshire

Night Shifts (10 pm – 6 am)

Competitive salary + 24% Shift Allowance + Handover Allowance

Due to new production lines launching we are looking for Multi-Skilled Engineers to join a world leading pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Cheshire.

A global and leading brand with R&D, manufacturing, distribution and central functions across the globe offering excellent training and progression programmes supporting the development of all staff across the board. You will be based at a rapidly growing production site with new product lines and exciting opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• You will undertake planned preventive maintenance, breakdown and repair activities and inspection routines on production equipment.
• Improving the operation of manufacturing, filling and packaging equipment through problem solving and improvement techniques and liaison with the machine suppliers will be a key part of your role
• Help organise and participate in planned shutdowns
• Your role will require you to assist in equipment installation, commissioning and qualification activities
• You will work within various pharmaceutical and environmental conditions e.g. clean rooms, technical spaces, plant rooms etc
• Maintaining equipment whilst adhering to site and corporate safety and cGMP standards
• Supervise and direct specialist third party service providers

Key Skills

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical and Electrical engineering or a recognised multi-skilled engineering programme.
A background within a highly regulated production industry such as pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, FMCG, chemical production, medical devices etc
