FDA Small Business Regulatory Education for Industry (REdI) Conference “Prescription Drug Labeling – Challenges and Issues”, November 3-4, 2015

This 2 day conference has been pre-approved by RAPS as eligible for up to 12 credits towards a participant’s RAC recertification upon full completion

CDER Small Business and Industry Assistance (SBIA) invites you to attend our two-day November 3rd/4thRegulatory Education for Industry (REdI): Prescription Drug Labeling – Challenges and Issues conference in person or virtually.

This conference is an FDA-led forum that includes FDA and industry labeling experts who will discuss common labeling challenges and issues pertinent to labeling for prescription drug and biological products (i.e., prescribing information, patient labeling, and carton and container labeling). Topics include:

  • Developing the prescribing information (e.g., Pregnancy and Lactation Labeling Rule (PLLR) labeling, drug interactions),
  • Safety considerations to minimize medication errors,
  • Patient labeling (e.g., Patient Medication Information), and
  • Promotional aspects of labeling.
The forum is a combination of didactic presentations and panel discussions which include question/answer sessions.
  • November 3 and 4: During the lunch breaks there will be networking opportunities with colleagues that are optional self-pay events. Reservations are not necessary, simply purchase a lunch and join attendees for casual networking and socializing.
  • November 3: Optional self-pay networking event with colleagues after the conference adjourns. Reservations are not necessary, food and drinks are available for purchase. This is a great opportunity to network and socialize with other attendees.
